Drastically reduce employee turnover by hiring the right person for the job the first time!

Are you tired of the "revolving door" when it comes to finding the right person for the job? The story repeats itself over and over again, in every business: "Our new hire had all the right experience, good references, and interviewed like a champ! But here it is six weeks later, and he's not working out. We can't ignore the fact that he's wrong for the job, and we made a hiring mistake. Now we have to start all over again!"

Do you wonder why, try as you may, you just keep missing the mark on hiring the right talent? Determining the ideal candidate for a position can prove to be not only the most frustrating part of the hiring process, but also the most difficult. Each person involved in the selection process will have his or her own idea of what skill set, experience and education is required for the position.

The cost for hiring the wrong person for a position can run as high as 1/2 to 4 times the  employee’s yearly salary and benefits. Employee turnover alone may be costing you tens of thousands of dollars! You can reduce expenses associated with turnover, as well as the cost of employee disengagement, by maximizing the effectiveness of your employee selection process.

Take the guesswork out of hiring and motivating the "right" people for your important positions. Often times the top candidate is determined only by their hard skills, education and experience. Using only subjective means (resumes, interviews, background checks) provides a mere 17% success rate in most industries. A Harvard University study reports that 80% of employee turnover can be blamed on mistakes made during the employee selection process.

While education, experience and intelligence are important, you simply cannot uncover the true picture of human talent without a total person analysis that includes an assessment of behaviors, values and personal skills. These key accountabilities serve as a reference point that each SME uses when responding to the job assessment, providing their input on performance requirements of the job. 

The SME’s assessments are compiled into one report, the TriMetrix™ Multiple Respondent Job Report which serves as a Job Benchmark for the position. Based on a unique 37-factor analysis, the TriMetrix™ Multiple Respondent Job Report lists the job’s requirements into three separate talent categories: rewards/culture, behavioral traits and job attributes.

Next, potential employees (usually the five finalist candidates) respond to an online assessment.  The TriMetrix™ Personal Talent Report provides objective information about their temperament (how they go about work), values (worldview, the why of their actions) and personal skills (what they are capable of).
